Changing Phases
We often think about what our lives would be after we reach a certain age or level. How would we look, what would our personality be like, how many friends and people we share our time with right now would be together later with the same energetic vibe. Interestingly, this feeling is not limited to a certain age group. A little 5 year old looks at his teenager neighbour and wonders if he would be equally cool as him. That 15 year old teenage looks at a college going student and wishes he get to experience that independent free life too. That 23 year old student looks at a married man with a happy family, a good earning and dreams to live that life too and this goes on and on. And ofcourse this is not limited to males.
Me, being a 18 year old girl who just finished her schooling and is about to join college in a different city takes a lot of interest in sitting and dreaming about a picture perfect life. I remember wondering in 8th class what would my life look like when I finish my schooling. And now that the time has actually come, it doesn't feel all magical and impeccable like I dreamt of. But that's how life is, full of unanswered questions which hardly make sense in the real life. Like the famous saying by Elbert Hubbard " don't take life too seriously, you will never get out of it alive ". My main motive of writing this blog would be a little difficult for readers to understand ( this is my first ever blog but that won't be my excuse). I want to showcase the dilemma of unresting man and transient world. And all these philosophical and hotly debated questions and theories seem to have no end.
Each level of life teaches us something new and we look back at our old self and think, how ignorant we were to worry about things which are either normal or almost frivolous now. By the time someone realises the truth, they find them on the death bed with no hope but lessons for the their young ones who will eventually go through the same cycle.
Everyone aspires to be the hero, with all worldly powers and a name which takes its place in history and gets remembered till the end of this universe. Be it a small kid who wishes to have all the toys and be best at games or an adult desiring to own a big bungalow, super cars, considerable power in society and politics and to become someone whom people look upon. Monks and
people who manage to escape the matrix and keep a control on themselves live a more spiritual and intoxicated life than others. We don't see them often, might not even have met one. Everyone dreams, but only a handful conquer them. This shows how strong or weak a human can be depending on various factors like environment, upbringing, etc. Heroism doesn't die,but mostly it gets suppressed by the reality check. A man who earns just enough to feed his family won't think of getting rich, rather accept his fate. Our consciousness of existence is what makes different from other living creatures.
Life is full of uncertainty, but that's what makes it exciting. Full of questions but no answer. I wonder where does this end?
